Political analyst Stepan Danielyan on Tuesday strongly criticized Armenia’s current leadership, stating that the country is increasingly isolated on the international stage due to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s policies.
“Armenia’s prime minister and Armenia itself are isolated,” Danielyan wrote on Facebook. “He is viewed as unacceptable by the current administrations of the United States, Russia and China. Even the European Union, where he claims to be steering the country, sees him as an unserious partner, preferring instead to build ties with Azerbaijan.”
The analyst further noted that Iran, traditionally a natural ally, is compelled to maintain relations with Armenia solely for geopolitical reasons despite the Armenian government’s policies.
“Every single day of the clown's rule poses a threat to our very existence,” Danielyan added.
