Two individuals have been arrested as part of an ongoing criminal investigation conducted by Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee. The detentions are related to suspicions of accepting and offering a large-scale bribe.
One of the detainees is said to be an official from the State Revenue Committee (SRC).
Sources told Pastinfo that the official in question is a tax inspector, who is suspected of accepting a bribe amounting to 4 million drams (approximately $10,000).
