World Youth and Junior Championships: Two Armenian lifters competing today

Armenia will be represented by two weightlifters at the World Youth and Junior Championships in Lima, Peru, on May 3 and into the early hours of May 4, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reports.

Grigor Ghazaryan is set to compete in the 96 kg A Group of the youth division at 10:30 p.m. Yerevan time. His performance will be broadcast on the Public TV's news channel.

Later, at 1:00 a.m., Valerik Movsisyan will take the stage in the junior 89 kg category. The event will be broadcast on Armenia’s First Channel.
