Azeri gunfire damages house roof in Armenian border village

A house roof in the Armenian border village of Khnatsakh was damaged in the wake of Azerbaijani shooting late on Friday, the Defense Ministry reported.

"On May 9, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Azerbaijani forces opened fire on the Khnatsakh settlement in Syunik Province, resulting in damage to the roof of a residential house. There were no reported casualties," it said in a statement.

"We call on the Azerbaijani side to conduct an investigation into the shelling of the residential house in Khnatsakh and to provide public clarification," the ministry added.
