Strong winds topple trees, damage rooftops in Armenia

Strong winds on Sunday caused 57 emergency situations across Armenia, primarily in Yerevan, where 44 incidents were reported. Other affected areas included Armavir, Aragatsotn, Lori, Tavush, Kotayk and Ararat Provinces.

The Interior Ministry reported damage to rooftops, rain gutters and toppled trees in Yerevan, Abovyan, Vanadzor, Dilijan and Ijevan, as well as in several villages. Emergency response teams, including firefighters and rescuers, were dispatched to secure areas, dismantle damaged structures and clear fallen trees.

All emergency calls received a timely response from rescuers.
