Emin Torosyan dismissed as Yerevan Theater of the Young Spectator head

Emin Torosyan has been dismissed as Director of the Yerevan Theater of the Young Spectator.

In a statement on Tuesday, Torosyan described the dismissal as the result of an "unfounded report" by the head of the city’s Culture Department, calling the decision arbitrary.

Torosyan expressed gratitude to his colleagues, emphasizing his commitment to professionalism and cultural values during his seven-year tenure.

The theater's staff has condemned the dismissal and announced a press conference and strike in protest.
