MP: Armenian authorities attempt to cover up crimes against state and people

Opposition Pativ Unem faction MP Tigran Abrahamyan has accused the Armenian government of attempting to rewrite history and distort well-known facts in an effort to conceal their crimes against the state and people.

"It doesn't matter who will be pushed to the forefront for this purpose, or who will betray the homeland for personal gain – those are just technicalities," Abrahamyan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

“The authorities are following a clear scheme that involves a group of unprincipled 'volunteers' who, depending on the situation, create the propaganda and informational background for attacks against Armenian statehood,” he added.
