Armenian mayor bids farewell to staff after resignation

Diana Gasparyan, who had served as mayor of the Armenian town of Etchmiadzin for nearly seven years, officially bid farewell to the municipal staff on Friday.

 

During her tenure, the municipality expanded its external relations, establishing new platforms for cooperation at both the local and international levels. According to a statement from the Etchmiadzin Municipality, numerous programs were implemented and key strategic projects aimed at community development were successfully launched.

 

In her farewell address, Gasparyan expressed gratitude to her team for their years of collaboration and dedication. She urged them to remain committed to the shared vision of advancing the community’s development.

 

Gasparyan announced her resignation on Thursday.
