Magnitude 2․3 earthquake hits Armenia

A magnitude 2․3 earthquake struck the Armenia-Georgia border area on Friday afternoon.

The quake was recorded 8 km northeast of the village of Bavra and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.

The quake measured 3 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.

Tremors were felt in the villages of Bavra, Saragyugh and Ghazanchi in Shirak Province.
