Yerevan Municipality officials arrested on bribery charges

Two Yerevan Municipality officials have been arrested as part of an ongoing criminal investigation led by Armenia’s Anti-Corruption Committee.

Its spokesperson Marina Ohanyan told Panorama.am on Tuesday that the officials were arrested on bribery charges.

"Two Municipality officials have been arrested on charges of accepting bribes," Ohanyan confirmed. "No further details can be disclosed at this stage in order to protect the integrity of the investigation."
