Missing Armenian toddler's body found in Marmarik River

The body of 2-year-old Tigran, who had been missing in the village of Marmarik since May 4, was found in the Marmarik River on Saturday morning.

Interior Ministry spokesperson Narek Sargsyan said in a statement that the toddler’s body was discovered near the bridge adjacent to the Hrazdan Hydroelectric Power Plant.

"We extend our condolences to the child's family and the entire community," Sargsyan added.
