Armenia's Shant Sargsyan finishes 5th at Sharjah Masters 2025

The 8th Sharjah Masters 2025 international chess tournament concluded on Sunday.

In Group A (rating 2500+), 82 players from 31 countries took part, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

Armenian GM Shant Sargsyan scored 6 out of 9 points, securing 5th place.

Here are the top three finishers:

1st place – GM Anish Giri (Netherlands)

2nd place – GM Aleksandar Indjic (Serbia)

3rd place – GM Nodirbek Abdusattorov (Uzbekistan)
