Azeri gunfire targets Armenian border village, house damaged

On May 29, between 1:00 a.m. and 1:15 a.m., Azerbaijani forces opened fire on the village of Khoznavar in Armenia’s Syunik Province, damaging a residential house.

The Armenian Defense Ministry reported no casualties in the wake of the shooting.

“We urge the Azerbaijani side to conduct an investigation into the incident and to provide public explanations regarding the shelling of the residential house in Khoznavar,” the ministry said.
