Armenia in diplomatic talks with Azerbaijan over peace deal, security chief says
Armenia is holding consultations with Azerbaijan through diplomatic channels aimed at finalizing a peace agreement, Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan announced at a press briefing on Thursday.
Addressing the Azerbaijani gunfire targeting the border village of Khoznavar earlier today, Grigoryan reiterated Armenia's proposal to establish a mechanism for investigation of border incidents.
He noted that progress continues in the peacebuilding process, with working groups led by the deputy prime ministers actively advancing efforts toward border delimitation.
"The latest agreement is that the delimitation process will proceed from the Armenia–Georgia–Azerbaijan tripoint, and efforts are underway to find negotiated solutions that would allow the process to continue," Grigoryan said.
