Senator Daines backs Trump administration's push for Armenia-Azerbaijan peace deal

U.S. Senator Steve Daines, member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Senator Daines discussed regional security issues and opportunities for economic investment, the U.S. Embassy in Yerevan reported on Saturday.

“He conveyed his support for the Trump Administration's position that Armenia and Azerbaijan should sign a peace agreement to bring stability and prosperity to the region,” it said in a statement.
