Aram Ghazaryan has announced his resignation as Governor of Armenia’s Lori Province and his departure from political and party activities. In a statement on Monday, Ghazaryan said his decision is linked to a transition to a new position, details of which will be announced by the relevant authorities in due course.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the trust and opportunity to serve his home region, and thanked the residents of Lori, the governor’s staff, community leaders, fellow regional governors and the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure for their collaboration and support. Ghazaryan also acknowledged his colleagues in the executive and legislative branches and his party affiliates for their support and shared vision.
