Deputy FM: Armenia ready to immediately sign and ratify peace deal with Azerbaijan
Armenia and Azerbaijan have officially concluded negotiations on a peace treaty, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan announced.
Speaking at the inauguration of the French Consular Office in Goris on Monday, Kostanyan emphasized Armenia’s readiness to sign the document without delay.
"Armenia is prepared to immediately sign and ratify the peace agreement," he stated. "I can assure you that the most effective way to address all concerns is through the conclusion and ratification of this agreement, which would usher in a new era of peaceful coexistence in the region."
Kostanyan also highlighted the importance of the France-Armenia Decentralized Cooperation Forum being held in Syunik Province as a strong message of peace and collaboration.
"Syunik can become a strategic hub for cooperation," the deputy FM said. "Joint initiatives in infrastructure, transportation and energy can benefit not only Armenia but also the entire region. Our goal is to create a peaceful and secure region where cooperation prevails over conflict."
