Nazik Avdalyan named torchbearer of Armenian International Healthcare Expo

Armenian weightlifter Nazik Avdalyan, a multiple world and European champion, Olympic medalist, has been named the torchbearer of the Armenian International Healthcare Expo 2025.

"A person whose victories embody a healthy life, physical, mental, and spiritual resilience, now stands as the symbol of this international event," the Healthcare Expo said in a statement on Thursday.

"We believe that healthcare and sports share the same mission: to empower people to live fully, confidently, and victoriously.

"With Nazik as its face, the Expo not only unites the leading voices of the healthcare sector, but also reminds us: health is worth striving for every single day — just like every gold medal," it added.
