Armenian parliament speaker allows prosecution of opposition MPs

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has approved a motion by Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan to prosecute opposition lawmakers Seyran Ohanyan and Artsvik Minasyan.

The decision, confirmed via the parliament’s official website on Monday, authorizes legal action against the two MPs, who represent the opposition Hayastan faction.
