Nzhdeh Iskandaryan, a member of the Council for the Protection of the Rights of Artsakh Armenians, has been appointed State Minister of Artsakh.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Iskandaryan said he agreed to accept the role because he could not advocate for the importance of state institutions and then reject the opportunity to serve.
"Within the scope of my abilities and capacities, I will stand by our statehood," Iskandaryan stated.
