One dead, several injured in house fire in Armenian town

The Crisis Management Center of the Gegharkunik Regional Rescue Department received an emergency call reporting a house fire on Garegin Nzhdeh Street in the town of Chambarak early on Wednesday morning.

Two fire and rescue crews from the Interior Ministry’s Rescue Service were dispatched to the scene.

According to preliminary data, a gas explosion occurred in one of the apartments, resulting in one death and several injuries.
