Iran-Israel conflict could disrupt Armenia's supply chains, finance minister says

Finance Minister Vahe Hovhannisyan has warned that the Iran-Israel conflict could impact Armenia's supply routes as part of the country’s logistics depends on imports from Iran.

“These supplies may be delayed, disrupted or become more expensive,” he told a news conference on Monday, adding that heightened tensions could also affect investor confidence and interest rates.

Hovhannisyan noted that the government is monitoring the situation closely and exploring ways to minimize potential risks. While the Ministry of Economy is handling logistics-related issues, he stressed that Armenia's overall economic strategy remains unchanged for now.
