Pashinyan, Erdogan reaffirm readiness to continue direct contacts

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey in Istanbul on Friday.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the process of normalizing Armenia-Turkey relations, emphasized the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and achieving concrete results. The interlocutors also touched upon regional developments and possible directions of bilateral cooperation in this context, the Armenian government reported.

Pashinyan emphasized Armenia's commitment to the process of ensuring peace and stability in the region and emphasized his commitment to the continuation of the policy of normalizing relations with neighbors.
