Holy Struggle movement reports widespread detentions of its supporters

Law-enforcement officers are carrying out large-scale detentions targeting supporters of the Holy Struggle movement, according to a statement released by the group on Friday.

The movement strongly condemned what it described as "unlawful arrests" and a campaign of repression.

“The motive behind this wave of political persecution remains unclear. Notably, it coincides with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Turkey,” the statement read.
