Pashinyan says ENA nationalization plan ready

The plan for the nationalization of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA CJSC) has been finalized, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced.

“We will soon move into the practical implementation phase. The process will be carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.

The utility is currently operated by the Tashir Group owned by businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, who is facing political retaliation following his public statements of support for the Armenian Apostolic Church.
