Armenian Investigative Committee releases audio recordings in 'foiled coup plot'

The Armenian Investigative Committee has released audio recordings allegedly featuring leaders and members of the Holy Struggle movement accused of plotting to overthrow the government.

According to the agency, the recordings were obtained through covert investigative measures conducted as part of an ongoing criminal case.

"The recordings were obtained as part of a criminal investigation into preparations for terrorist acts and seizure of power by leaders and members of the movement known as the Holy Struggle," the Investigative Committee said in a statement on Wednesday.
