Pashinyan to participate in EAEU meeting via video link

The IV Eurasian Economic Forum opens in Minsk, aligned with the upcoming meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, which gathers heads of state from the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Hosted under Belarus’s 2025 chairmanship of EAEU bodies, the event focuses on the theme "Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects".

Over 2,700 participants from 33 countries have registered for the forum, held at the Minsk International Exhibition Center. The council meeting is set for June 27, with all EAEU leaders confirming in-person attendance, except Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who will join remotely via video link, TASS reported.

Ahead of the forum, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived in Belarus on an official visit and met with President Alexander Lukashenko. Confirmed attendees also include Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and newly elected Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Delegations from Mongolia, the UAE, Nicaragua and Myanmar are also expected to attend the meeting.
