A magnitude 2․9 earthquake struck Armenia early on Saturday.
The quake was recorded 8 km north of the town of Spitak and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.
The quake measured 4 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
The earthquake was felt in Spitak, as well as in the villages of Lernapat, Arjut, Arevashogh, Darpas and Gogaran.
