Magnitude 2․2 earthquake hits Armenia

A magnitude 2․2 earthquake struck Armenia early on Monday.

The quake was recorded 8 km northwest of the town of Martuni and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.

The quake measured 2-3 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.

The tremors were felt in Martuni, as well as in the villages of Yeranos, Lichk and Zolakar.
