A magnitude 3․9 earthquake struck the Iran-Turkey border area on Monday afternoon.
The quake was recorded 28 km north of the city of Maku and at a depth of 10 km, the Rescue Service of the Armenian Interior Ministry reported.
The quake measured 5 on the MSK scale at the epicenter.
The tremors were felt in Armenia’s Ararat and Vayots Dzor Provinces, as well as in the capital Yerevan.
