Wimbledon 2025: Rybakina knocks out Avanesyan

Kazakh Elena Rybakina, the No 11 seed, advanced to the second round of Wimbledon by defeating Armenian Elina Avanesyan 6-2, 6-1 at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London on Tuesday evening.

Rybakina, ranked No 11, will play Greek Maria Sakkari next.
