Activist Vahagn Chakhalyan detained

Activist Vahagn Chakhalyan has been placed in pre-trial detention for two months, his son reported.

"Political orders continue to target Vahagn Chakhalyan. He has been detained for two months," Ruben Chakhalyan said.

The Investigative Committee reported that Chakhalyan had been arrested as part of a criminal investigation into plotting terrorist attacks and usurpation of power in Armenia by leaders and members of the Holy Struggle movement.
