MP: RPA focused on regime change, not political posturing

MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction has dismissed claims that the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) was sidelined during the recent rally in support of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, calling the allegations “nonsense".

In a social media post on Monday, he emphasized that the RPA's primary objective since 2018 had been achieving a change of power, rather than pursuing positions or making empty promises.

"We support our political allies and the broader process of regime change from that standpoint," Abrahamyan stated, criticizing those who "inflate their own importance" and rely on "political mercenaries".
