Rossini's 'The Barber of Seville' to be staged in Yerevan with Artsakh Orchestra

Gioachino Rossini’s beloved comic opera The Barber of Seville will be performed at the Opera Studio of Yerevan's Komitas State Conservatory on July 7, 8, 10 and 11.

The production features the Artsakh Orchestra under the baton of Honored Artist of Armenia Narek Hakhnazaryan. Directed by Norayr Hergnyan, with set and costume design by David Kochunts, the opera also includes a choir led by Gayane Sahakyan.

A highlight of the Italian comic opera repertoire, The Barber of Seville offers both a vibrant musical experience and a valuable stage opportunity for a new generation of performers.
