MP Tigran Abrahamyan of the opposition Pativ Unem faction has accused Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and his administration of fostering chaos by persecuting and intimidating critics.
“The current leader’s actions and social media posts amount to real terrorism against his own country and people,” he wrote on Facebook on Tuesday.
“Spreading fear, intimidation, violence and political persecution have become common occurrences in the country and will persist as long as the ruling regime remains in power. The government is driving the country toward chaos and instability, severely undermining its viability,” the MP insisted.
In a social media post on Tuesday, Pashinyan said "Christ’s house has been seized by an immoral, anti-national group and must be liberated", vowing to lead the "liberation" of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.
