The Armenian Prosecutor General's Office seeks to confiscate expensive property and other assets belonging to opposition Hayastan faction MP Artur Sargsyan and his associates amid illicit enrichment accusations.
Prosecutors have asked the Anti-Corruption Court to allow the forfeiture of 6 real estate properties, 2 vehicles, shares in 6 companies and around 2 million drams in allegedly illicit funds.
The court has applied interim measures to secure the claim.
Sargsyan, who was recently stripped of his parliamentary immunity, was placed in pre-trial detention for two months on Wednesday.
