Sevan water level keeps dropping

Between July 7 and 13, the water level of Lake Sevan decreased by 2 centimeters to 1900.66 meters as of July 13, marking a 2 cm drop compared to the same period last year. However, the level remains 27 cm higher than it was on January 1 this year.

Meanwhile, 1.015 million cubic meters of water were delivered to Lake Sevan through the Arpa-Sevan Tunnel. From January 1 to July 13, the total volume of transferred water amounted to 95.632 million cubic meters, the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported.

In contrast, 13.059 million cubic meters of water were released from the Sevan between July 7 and 13. The total volume released since June 6 stands at 65.951 million cubic meters.
