Strong winds cause damage in parts of Armenia

Strong winds toppled trees and damaged roofing sheets in some parts of Armenia on Tuesday, the Rescue Service reported.

The affected areas included Yerevan, Gyumri, Ijevan, Vanadzor, Spitak, Tashir, and Tumanyan.

In response, emergency crews were swiftly dispatched to carry out tree removal and debris clearance operations. Rescuers also secured loosened roofing materials and neutralized threats from unstable metal structures.

In total, 10 emergency incidents were reported. All calls were promptly addressed by rescue teams, who provided all necessary assistance to ensure public safety.
