Collapse reported in central Yerevan

A structural collapse occurred near the sidewalk at the intersection of Amiryan and Saryan Streets in downtown Yerevan on Thursday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The affected area has been cordoned off to ensure public safety.

Over three years ago, a larger collapse that took place on Tsitsernakaberd Highway, where a retaining wall stretching approximately 200 meters gave way. The road section remains unrestored to date.
