Aronian beats Carlsen at Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour

GM Levon Aronian scored a 2-0 victory over GM Magnus Carlsen in the tiebreak at the ongoing Freestyle Chess Grand Slam Tour tournament in Las Vegas on Thursday.

With this victory, Aronian is keeping his chances alive of taking the first place, while Carlsen now moves to the lower bracket, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.
