A hot tropical air mass from the south will bring extreme heat to Armenia between July 21-23. Daytime temperatures in Yerevan, the Ararat Valley and Syunik's lowlands are expected to reach 40C, with a high risk of wildfires in the areas.
From July 18-20, evening showers and thunderstorms are possible in parts of Yerevan. July 21-23 will be dry, though evening winds may intensify to 15-18 m/s.
