Romanos Petrosyan arrives at ENA headquarters with team

Romanos Petrosyan, appointed as the interim manager of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) by Mesrop Mesropyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), visited the company’s headquarters for the first time on Monday, accompanied by several individuals. When asked if they were his security personnel, Petrosyan clarified, "I don’t have security guards. These are my team members, specialists who will assist me in this process."

He emphasized that his authority derives from Armenian law, including those governing the energy sector, and pledged to act within his legal mandate for the benefit of the country and its citizens.

Petrosyan noted that his delayed arrival was due to finalizing his appointment with the State Register Agency under the Ministry of Justice. Though the PSRC’s decision took immediate effect, formal registration was required to fully exercise his powers. "All documents are now in order and I am officially assuming my duties," he stated.

Petrosyan rejected any political motives behind the process as baseless. Before entering the ENA headquarters, he asked journalists to remain outside, saying, “I enter this building empowered by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.”
