Narek Karapetyan: International court bars Armenian government from seizing or selling ENA assets

Narek Karapetyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA), has praised the international court ruling in favor of detained ENA owner Samvel Karapetyan in the nationalization case against the Armenian government.

According to Karapetyan, the court has issued a binding decision prohibiting the Armenian government from:

• Seizing or selling ENA’s assets
• Changing the composition of ENA’s management bodies
• Revoking the company’s operating licenses
• Restricting ENA’s legitimate business operations in any way

“This ruling clearly demonstrates that justice still prevails in the world and it’s not delivered through Facebook posts, as is often the case in Armenia today,” Karapetyan wrote.
