Aeroflot cancels Moscow-Yerevan flights due to IT failure

Aeroflot has canceled 42 flights to and from Moscow due to an IT system failure, the airline announced on Monday morning. Affected routes include domestic destinations such as St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Sochi, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Chelyabinsk and Ufa.

International flights from Minsk and Yerevan were also canceled, RBC reported.

Later in the day, Aeroflot announced the cancellation of seven additional flight pairs to and from Sheremetyevo Airport, impacting routes to Sochi, Elista, Kirovsk, Kaliningrad, Krasnoyarsk and Astana.

The airline advised passengers to collect any previously checked luggage and leave the airport to avoid overcrowding.
