Armenia's Lilit Kasinyan among winners of Paleochora 2025

Armenian GM Levon Babujian shared 1st-3rd place at the 18th Paleochora Open Chess Tournament held in Greece.

Levon scored 7.5 points out of 9 and took 3rd place on tie-breaks, the Armenian Chess Federation reported.

Among the prize winners is also Armenian IM Vahe Danielyan, who scored 7 points.

In Group B, Lilit Kasinyan shared 1st-3rd places with 7.5 points. Based on tie-breaks, Lilit took 3rd place and finished as the best female player.
