Foreign driver's licenses valid in Armenia for three months for citizens and dual nationals

Starting August 2, Armenian citizens and dual nationals will be allowed to drive in Armenia with a foreign driver’s license for up to three months from the date of entry, without facing administrative penalties.

The Interior Ministry introduced the legislative changes following public feedback and a review of existing procedures. The goal is to simplify and ease the process for citizens and dual citizens who hold foreign-issued driving permits.

The new regulation also applies retroactively to those already in the country with a valid foreign driver’s license.
