U17 World Championships: Armenian wrestler beats Turkish rival to win bronze

The U17 World Wrestling Championships are being held in Athens, Greece, from July 28 to August 3.

On Wednesday, Armenia’s Marat Achemyan delivered a dominant performance, defeating his Turkish opponent to claim a bronze medal in his weight category.

Fellow Armenian wrestler Zaven Mejlumyan also secured a place on the podium, earning a bronze medal after a strong showing in the repechage round.
