Armenian team wins European Youth Weightlifting Championships

Armenia's youth weightlifting team has won the team title at the European Youth Weightlifting Championships in Madrid, Spain. The Armenian team claimed the top spot based on the International Weightlifting Federation’s team scoring system, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation reported on Friday.

Armenia's Grigor Ghazaryan and Harutyun Hovhannisyan captured gold medals in their respective weight categories, while Rafik Darmoyan secured a bronze medal.

Additionally, medals in individual lifts were won by Davit Arakelyan, Karapet Karapetyan and Alen Zurabyan, contributing to Armenia’s overall team triumph.
