US Open: Khachanov ousted in 2nd round

Pole Kamil Majchrzak pulled off a miraculous comeback to beat Russian-Armenian Karen Khachanov, the No 9 seed, 2-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-5, 7-6 (5) to reach the third round of the US Open at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York on Thursday, Tennis Majors reported.

Majchrzak, ranked No 76, will face Swiss qualifier Leandro Riedi next, who made the same performance against Cerundolo.
