Secretary of Armenia’s Security Council Armen Grigoryan held a meeting with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on the sidelines of his working visit to Tehran on Saturday.
They emphasized that Armenia and Iran remain determined to deepen their ongoing dialogue aimed at establishing strategic partnership, the Security Council said in a press release.
The discussions also touched upon the agreements reached on August 8, which Grigoryan highlighted as an important milestone in the peace process.
“President Pezeshkian noted that recent high-level contacts between Armenia and Iran, including his own official visit to Yerevan, have contributed to effectively addressing uncertainties in Iran,” reads the statement.
